Narcissus medioluteus, 13 W-Y, poeticus x tazetta, 1768
A daffodil found in the wild and most likely a natural cross between a poeticus and tazetta daffodil. She has been grown since 1691 and has had plentiful nicknames over the centuries. April Beauty, Graveyard ladies, Loving Couple and Twin Sisters are a few of them. The fact that she still is grown by daffodil lovers tells enough about her, she is simply beautiful.
Flowering period: early
