Lilium lancifolium (tigrinum)

Lilium lancifolium is in the trade for over a century and much better known as the 'Tiger Lily'.

Originally, she is from Korea and China and has been sold under the name Lilium tigrinum splendens, a much better name. Due to this name she got the nick name the 'Tiger Lily' fitting perfect with her heavy dotted flowers.

The Tiger Lily is a fantastic lily for the garden, doing well in all types of soil and stealing the show in every border with her vibrant colour.
